Ben Okoro had a career with Chevron for 31 years on development of surface infrastructure for crude oil and gas processing and export. He participated in or led a number of facilities engineering projects and initiatives in Nigeria, UK and the USA. Ben performed in several technical and management roles to deliver projects in support of production operations during his career with the company. Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1983. He is currently a freelancer in Project Management, Facilitation and Strategy Development and a strong enthusiast in Renewable Energy. He is an advocate of good governance with particular focus on the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. He has a fervent desire to promote science and technology-based education amongst the youth in the region and Nigeria in general.
